BillTotals
Bills.CurrentBill.PeriodBills.BillTotals
Contains a breakdown of the bill line items that make up the total bill, such as fixed charges, energy charges, and demand charges. BillTotals is repeated throughout the response schema. When found at the billing period level under PeriodBills, BillTotals contains a bill breakdown for that billing period. BillTotals contains a bill breakdown with totals for all billing periods when found outside of PeriodBills.
MinimumBill
The minimum allowable charge for a bill. The minimum bill may be offset by net surplus compensation.
Possible Values: A decimal value such as 10.00.
DemandCharge
Charges associated with peak kilowatt (kW) demand. Demand charges are assessed on a $/kW basis for the maximum average over a giving period. Average demand is usually assessed over a one hour, 30-minute, or 15-minute period.
Possible Values: A decimal value such as 200.00.
EnergyCharge
Charges associated with kilowatt-hour energy use. Energy charges are assessed on a $/kWh basis.
Possible Values: A decimal value such as 200.00.
FixedCharge
Charges associated per billing period regardless of total energy use. Fixed charges are usually assessed on a $/billing-period or a $/ day-billed basis.
Possible Values: A decimal value such as 10.00.
NetSurplusCompensation
Total payment from the utility to the customer for excess generation. Depending on a the accounting period used by the utility, net surplus compensation may be given for each billing period or in the last billing period of a 12 month true-up period. Possible Values: A decimal value such as 10.00.
TotalCharge
The greater of the sum of DemandCharge, EnergyCharge, and FixedCharge minus NetSurplusCompensation or the MinimumBill minus NetSurplusCompensation.
Possible Values: A decimal value such as 200.00.
