EnergyTotals

Bills.PeriodBills.EnergyTotals

Contains energy use details such as energy consumed, energy produced, and peak load. EnergyTotals is repeated throughout the response schema. When found at the billing period level under PeriodBills, EnergyTotals contains energy use details for that billing period. When found outside of PeriodBills, EnergyTotals contains energy use details with totals for all billing periods.

Consumed_kWh

The total amount of energy in kWh consumed over a period of time.

Possible Values: A decimal value such as 1000.000.

Produced_kWh

The total amount of energy in kWh produced over a period of time.

Possible Values: A decimal value such as 1000.000.

Purchased_kWh

The total amount of energy in kWh purchased from the utility over a period of time. For utilities with net metering, Purchased_kWh will be equal to the greater of Consumed_kWh minus Produced_kWh or 0.

Possible Values: A decimal value such as 1000.000.

Inflow_kWh

The total amount of energy in kWh imported from the utility for a given period of time. This value and Inflow_kWh are useful for understanding how coincident consumption is with production, which is important for rates which value exported energy at a rate that is different from the retail rate. For example, in the extreme case where all energy produced is exported, Inflow_kWh will be equal to Consumed_kWh and Outflow_kWh will be equal to Produced_kWh.

Possible Values: A decimal value such as 1000.000.

Outflow_kWh

The total amount of energy in kWh exported to the utility for a given period of time.
